Actually...now that you pointed it out, I guess you're right. All the suport credit falls on your shoulders then.

Well, I did what you said and it had a spark. So I bought a code reader and I got 157 and 158. And I looked it up and it says, Mass Air sensor failure, low voltage. And Mass air sensor failure, High voltage. Looks like I need a new MAF.

i can't tell you 100% what the codes means, and when it comes to MASS i'm clueless.

lets hope guys like HISSIN or Grady chime in.

or for the time you could try and clean the meter and see what happens. there was a how to somewhere, but i can't find the link in my favorites at the momment.

You can clean the MAF with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol. Electrical contact cleaner also works well. If you have a K&N air filter and over-oil it, the extra oil is sucked into the engine and can coat the MAF wires.

Don't have any photos of this so I'll have to describe it. The MAF box is connected to the air filter. Take apart the MAF box by popping open the clips with a flat head screwdriver. The MAF sensor is the black piece with the wires plugged into it. Take out the two screws (sometimes with a torx bit, sometimes they're normal screws) and CAREFULLY pull the MAF sensor out. There are two thin wires that need to be cleaned. They are fragile and easy to break; if you break one, you must buy a new MAF sensor.

Use a q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol to gently rub all sides of the wire. Keep switching to a clean part of the q-tip and rub the wires until the q-tip stays clean. Reinstall all the parts and see if the engine runs any better.
