Thanks Krash, and all the others with encouraging comments, LHD isn't a problem over here - mainstream insurance companies might load you a bit, but if you use a proper classic or American specialist then it really isn't an issue.
Inspections (MOT as we call it) are mandatory for any car over 3 years old, and covers structure, brakes, lights, emissions etc etc in fact any excuse they can find to rid the world of another motorist, because apparently its all our fault. Not sure what it is, but it's down to us motorists, and our speeding, and emissions. Don't know how we sleep at night...
The red turn signals will give me some crap, so I'll have to set up some amber ones for the test, then junk 'em once it's passed.
And geordie - it was bloody cold in the lock-up, and full of fumes...
