I'm not sure how big PlastiDip is around here, but I love the stuff. It was getting real big in the Audi community when I decided to leave. Had a can laying around the house, so I decided to give this a shot. Total cost: $0

I've been toying with the thought of doing the roof too.

If it does, you just reapply it. SN95 4.6 Tech/Talk had a thread about Plasti-Dip a while back. People were using it on everything from wheels to hoods.

^ this. It's held up so far. Been in snow, thunderstorms, low 20's to mid 60's, and about 400 miles so far. Cleaned up great and looks just like I painted it. Here is some good info on it. I just copied this from a post on Audizine:

Thank you to all the members who supported DipYourCar.com during the first couple months. I really appreciate all of the feedback from my PlastiDip projects. Our goal is to provide the guides, examples, support and obviously the products to my fellow Audizine members at the lowest prices possible.
