don't use platinum spark plugs and make sure you don't have too much boost with a stock engine.......I learned the hard way. At least that was a good reason to order a new 331!

Find yourself a NPT tap for the oil pan.. I can't remember exact size, maybe someone else can help out on that.. Ya deffinitely no plat. plugs.. I would gap plugs to around .030-.035.. i was told to go even lower when i had my car dyno tuned at LaRocca's back when it was supercharged..

Ya have fun and congrats.. let us know how you like it.. I can't wait to buy another blower

Dont use thread sealer on any oil fittings going to the engine. They have a tendency to get in the charger and clog the passageway and then you burn up the blower. I know a guy that did that, and ProCharger warns about it in their instructions so it'll probably be in yours. Use a standard spark plug, nothing fancy, but get it in a range or two colder. Make sure your fuel system is adequate. Get it dynoed very soon afterwards to make sure the A/F is safe and everythings tuned correctly. And have fun!!

Awesome, congrats on the purchase. You will love it, did you get the V1 or V2? Hopefully you got the V1, gotta hear that Vortech whine;) Try to get it on a dyno, like the others said and make sure everything is ok. I am going to get mine on there June 12, so I cant wait to see your results.:nice:

i bought mine from summit for 1845 or something like that. ive found it cheaper at superchargers4less.com but thta name sounded kinded ghetto and i have confidence in summit so i paid the extra 150 bucks to get it from them.

im gonna be running on stock internals with this sc but over the winter i should be building up a nice engine. ill let ya all know whats up after i put it on.

later,
steve
