well its not really a vacation but i think of it that way so it doesnt suck so much. im actually in Evanston North Westsern hospital for my yearly "tune-up"
cause of my Cystic Fibrosis.

+1 and then it hit me...that kinda looks like a hospital bed. Not to mention when i opened it up

And you don't have to lie about why your there, we all know thats just the check in office...minutes after these pictures were taken they moved you to a padded room... JK

Anyway get better soon, and get the F out of there. Hopefully you got lucky and got hooked up with some hot nurses at least..i know everytime i go to the hospital i get stuck with a dude, or even worse, a old chick with a mustache =\

the reason im in here is because i have Cystic Fibrosis. its a lung disease that also messes with digestion. so basically im here to cough up mucus..lol

it sucks tho cause i have some mold or something growing im my lungs and they dont want me walking around the hospital and spreading it to other people with lung problems. so im stuck in this little room. all the nurses and doctors have to wear a plastic gown, gloves, and a face mask when they come in here so they dont spread it to other patients.

on the bright side i dont have to work or give people rides, i get to sit on my @ss all day, and i have room service!!

Well it could certainly be worse! You could have been lying on a beach somewhere sourrounded by mostly nekid women (some topless), the whole while knowing that they're playing right into the hands of skin cancer! Absolutely terrible! So be greatfull.

at least you only have 1 iv in you. when i had surgery i had 3 on my arms and 2 in my back. good luck man!

i had 2 actually, they put a temporary one (that never got used) closer to my wrist until i got my PIC line. for the PIC line they cut into my arm and shoved this long wire into one of my veins then pushed it all the way thru to the middle of my chest, then they sleeved the plastic tubing over it and pulled the wire out. its like an IV but it can stay in for almost a month, and they can (and have) draw blood from it.

they messed up the first time and collapsed a vein, so they had to pick a new spot. last year was worse tho, they tried 5 f-in times in my left arm and twice in my right. i couldnt lift either of my arms to even eat for about 2 days

I hate IV's. The pic line is not that bad. Well it hurts when they take it out.
