Mystery plugs

Need an ID on these 2 plugs I tried replacing the lights in my cluster following a video by house of DULA and still no light these I found under the dash unplugged do they need to be plugged in??

Not sure about the one on the right. The one on the left should be plugged in. It is there so the dash can be unplugged from the chassis harness to remove it. It's soulmate should be behind that left kick panel coming up from the floor.

Thanks could that be why my gauges are not lighting up?

Twist the knob on the headlight switch see if they flicker, sometimes the spring in the switch get crusty and will not have good contact.

That could definitely be why your gauges aren't lighting up. Does it have a blue wire with a red stripe on it, because that's the wire for lighting up gauges.

alright someone told me its an OBD port the bigger harness, then the other im still not sure on

Is this a efi car? You don't say what year.
