Well as you might or might not know im trying to track down a power loss problem. I started with timing, plugs, wires, cap, fuel filter.

Now I just cleaned the sensors that I could find.
ACT, MAF, IAC, set TPS. Those are the ones I know of.

I also dabbed these other 2 sensors (TOP TWO PICS) with a q-tip which was soaked in carb cleaner the first one pictuered was filthy, and the 2nd one pictured was fairly dirty.

WHAT ARE THESE SENSORS/PLUGS:

So what are the names of those babys???

Once I track down all the sensors I am going to make a diagram/pictures of all their locations since this seems to be a popular thread but no one has pics. It will make it much easier for others.

What are some other sensors or parts I can clean? Where is the ECT? Where is the EGR?

Thank you!!

the second one is the egr.

the first one has something to do with the coolant. and the last one is for the distributor.

thats all i can tell you and i apologize if i was of no help.

btw do you have a check engine light??

no I dont. I was told to clean my EGR, how would I clean it, remove it or just spray carb cleaner into that sensor?

if you were told to clean your egr. you should clean the inside of it where the carbon builds up. but go get some throttle body cleaner.

the carb cleaner could damage some sensors.

If you take the egr off of the car and spray it out and then let it dry you should be ok, the main thing you don't want to do is run carb cleaner though your engine.

if you run it through the egr and it gets sucked through the intake and into the combustion chamber it's going to get blown out the exhaust and past your o2's. you would probably have to spray alot to damage your sensors.

The first one is the coolant temperature sensor...not to be confused with the collant temp sending unit which is in the water outlet.
