Simply impressive what Nate has into this turbo kit. Very little cash flow, functional, and it halls arse. The first vid is Nates 10.55 pass and he can fill ya all in on the 60' times etc.

The other vids are of a blue Notch and a red Notch. But I think they both have much smaller turbos. Today I saw a red, white, and blue Notchback run. Next year... look out for a black one. Phil and John, we need to step up. Good job Nate!!

A dragster dumped it's guts down the entire 1/4 mile and into the return road. So that clean up took about 1 hour with 15 people doing the dirty work. Then they decided to run a different group and that was at 3:30 p.m. and I had to leave.

So if Nate ran again and got a 10.46, thats even better. Cool. Sorry I missed it.

Thanks guys!!! The car was running great all day. I got a 11.40 (tried something different with the suspension that didn't work), 10.69, 10.61, 10.55, 10.48 and a 10.46 out of Hankey with trap speeds in the 126-127 range. I drove it there, drove it home, and have pretty much hit all my goals for the car this year. I couldn't be happier!!!

Turbo's forever!!!

Nate:nice: :flag:

I am still somewhat new to this whole drag racing thing... can someone explain if there are benefits to driving through or around the waterbox. I noticed that the cars in the vids all went through the water before doing their burnout. Won't that mess up your traction later down the track as you will be dragging water right over the track you are trying to get traction on?

For most street tire cars, you want to drive around the water. The front tire will track some water from the burnout box out onto the track. The cars in the video have skinny drag type front tires with much less tread area so the water is not picked up as much. Plus, most of those cars have huge rear tires that when doing the burnout, clean up any water that the fronts would have brought out of the burn box. I hope this makes sence.
