need 347 info for eagle kit

eagle has 3 variations of a balanced stroker kit(comes with flexplate and dampner)B16022EA B16022LA B16022MA 1976-1980, 1981-1993, and 1994 up respectively. currently im running a 289 with a big bell housing tci c4 using a 11 5/8 bolt spread torque converter. my concern is that what kit has a flexplate that will mate to my torque converter. and i cannot find any info on their website. has anyone bought one of these kits? if so what did it come with for flexplate.

also this is going into a roller block. does the crank have the oil slinger cut off for a one piece rear seal?

Use the flexplate you now have. More than likely the crank will be a one piece seal unit, but you still need to verify that with Eagle. The 331 kit I used was for a roller block. The variations they list have to do with the balancer variations as far as accessory drive goes.

It also depends on the rough balance eagle put in the crank. Mine was roughly balanced to 28 oz, so I have to buy 28 oz balancer and flexplate.

The one piece seal can be used on older blocks if you remove the pins that located the old rope style. The oil slinger is on the frt. of the block and has nothing to do with the rear seal.

The one piece seal does not fit a 2 piece block. And the oil slinger we're talking about is not at the front of the crank. There is a cast in slinger on 2 pc seal cranks just forward of the rear main journal. There are also "knurling's" in the crank surface on these to pull excess oil away from the seal. I don't recall whether or not the 1 pc seal cranks have this knurling. Only 2 pc seals fit 2 pc blocks. Only way to install a 1 pc seal in a 2pc block would be to machine the rear of the block and the cap to accomodate the seal. Doing this isn't cost effective. There are and have been 2 pc neoprene seals to replace the rope seals for decades now.
