Hello everyone.

Please excuse me for entering this forum for the first time with a question and if this is not the place to post this moderators please let me know.

I have a 90 5.0 GT that has been mine since new. Back in the day this car was my pride and joy. This car terrorized the street racing scene years ago in Houston back when having a vortec with heads/cam was considered "cutting edge" at the time. I raced it in the first Houston True Street back in 94 and came in 4th with only an 11.8 avg! MM&FF did a 3 page feature on the car back in the April 98 issue.

The car has been garaged since 97 with no motor or tranny. I sold both with every intention to upgrade but I am sad to say I have lost my interest in this project. Fast forward to today and I have a full time career, a wife, two kids, a mortgage...well you get the picture.

My question is what would you ask for something like this? How long would you hold onto to it while waiting for the right buyer to come along? The car has 17,000 original miles.

I have some parts and many more pics.

Thanks for the input.

what else is done to the car. any suspension work. i would say at least 5,000 but thats just a guess from looking at it, could be more or less depending what you have done to it.

Suspension wise the car has lower contral arms and airbags in the rear. Koni's all around. It's been a while I don't remember what model. The car does have subframe connectors and a driveshaft safety loop. All the parts below will go with it.

Thanks for the replies.

put it on ebay with a starting bid of .99 and let everyone fight over it. all you have to do is think of a number for the reserve price.

did you upgrade the brakes also. what about the rear end. just make sure you list everything done to it when you list it to make it more appealing.

Ebay it all...I would sell the other things in separate auctions. You have some good money sitting there. You will do far better that way. If you let it go with the car it isn't gonna make the price really change. As for the car I would hate to guess on what its worth but just put a reserve for the bottom dollar you would take. Be very specific in the listing. By the looks of that thing you should do pretty well.

If it were mine (and it's in as good all round condition as those pictures make it appear), I'd want at least $5,000 for it.
