need a lightweight but strong spare tire(4 lug)...please help

I need to get a spare tire and I want to get something that will last for more than 1-2 uses. it also has to be able to fit in the spare tire compartment. could someone point me in the right direction for this?

I contacted a local tire shop and they said the only thing I could use is a factory replacement and that it would probably cost around 200.00 or so to get. I'm hoping they were full of it.

Where do you live? I have a never used 4 lug spare tire that I'm looking to get rid of. It was from my Mustang.

Get the 85-86 SVO spare. It's an all aluminum spare wheel that looks like a solid aluminum disc with the pizza cutter tire. I can lift the whole thing with my pinky easy, it's so light. Looks mighty strong at the same time too. It's amazing how much cool stuff was crammed into those svo's

i didn't know those came in svo's...

but they are the 'vert spare's for sure...
you can put a 165r15 tire on it. and be good for 60k miles

it should fit in the compartment.

Just go put a good tire on your donut rim. Or do you not have the rim right now either?

i think those pizza cutters came on old turbocoupes also as spares. i may be wrong though.

You can find them on ebay usually for around 100 bucks.
