I'm discarding the maf-forward densecharger pipe. I need some kind of maf adapter/maf flange, so i can run a k&n filter straight out of the maf with no bends.

Anybody no where I can get it from? I'm running a open maf right now, and don't really feel comfortable about it.

Whats the part number. Its gotta be wide as hell to fit over that maf housing. Mine is 3.5 inch wide and is not even close. Or is there adapter flange out there. Someones gotta know.

I never had the air box on the car. I've had a full length densecharger since the car was a week old. It went all the way down in the fenderwell. Now its off. The computer is pissed. The car is fine when moving, but idles like hell right now.

I realized that the only reason my K&N fits is because I have a C&L MAF.

I did the same thing to my car that you are trying to do. Have the BBK Cold-Air intake. Took off that bend that goes into the fenderwell and just bolted a K&N straight up to the MAF. Car is more responsive & idles like a champ.

I just modified my full length Densecharger so that the filter would come straight off the MAF. All you have to do is cut the piece that bolts to the MAF about an inch or so back and slide the K&N directly on to it. This setup is for sale right now if anyone is interested.

Here is the end result:
Modified Densecharger
