i was thinking about going with a centerforce dual friction.. any one have any suggestions on what clutch to get.. i make 300 at the wheels so i figure around 350 at the flywheel.. this is a daily driver and i want a clutch that is going to grab hard but not kill my leg sitting in traffic.. any info would be appriciated.. thanks

I think you'll be happy with the DF centerforce. Prolly a dumb thing to say but... replace the pilot and throwout bearing while in there too..

That's being a bit overconfident... I destroyed a DF with a basic bolt on car, and my tech grenaded three in a row in a hot pickup truck. To their credit, they kept replacing it free for him, but how many do you want to change in one month?

Right-o! I couldn't be happier with my Spec Stage 2. Very light pedal and it can hold up to 520 ft/lbs of torque.

I don't have any experience with centerforce so i can't comment on that. But I have used a King Cobra and it was nice, but i like my Spec much better.

Been thrilled with my Stage I, 400HP at the flywheel. Everybody raves about the Stage II though, guess I'll step up to that one when the T56 goes in

I am looking too. Right now it is between the Spec Stage 1 and King Cobra. I want the one with the lightest pedal. If I have to buy an adjustable cable and quadrant, I will. Because it is my daily driver, I don't want it to be too heavy.

My King Cobra was considerably heavier than my SPEC. It also didn't hold as much power, grabbed too close to the floor, cost more, and didn't last as long. Can't say they haven't changed them over the last few years though.
