Do I go with the stock Ford distributor or should I step up to an MSD or Accel? Would there be any difference? The Distributor just sends the signal correct? It shouldn't change the sparks power, right?
If mine were to go bad I think I would go with a MSD distributor they say (msd) it gives better accuracy in timing, and the cap and rotor have widely spaced spark plug style terminals to prevent crossfire. They seem to be pretty well and part # msd-8455 is specifically for 94-95 and is ready to run with your stock ignition. I think it would be a good idea to just get that instead of oem one. just my .02
