I bought a 67 fastback that already had a 5.0 conversion,t5,vintage air sure fit ac setup,Fatman front strut conversion with 13 inch disks. I bought this for my son to resto into a shelby clone. We have gone back and forth on whether to stick with the original plan or to do an Eleanor type conversion. Now we are considering staying with a more stock ,but upgraded restomod look ,along the lines of the Ebay mustang by Troy(fastforward fastback) (smoothed out ,lowered,17 inch wheels ect) which idea do you guys think will be best? thanks; chuck smith

I think Eleanor will be a fad. But what do I know. Build what you like and will be happy with for a long time.
To me, the worst thing about an Eleanor build would be if I wanted to change it out later. Glass and Paint destruction. It would probably be easier to sell one and start over than changing it back to more original.

Wheels.... I have a problem keeping my front on the ground!! LOL

I always liked the stock Fastback... maybe a set of GT500 rear window qtrs and the rear spoiler assy!! Gotta have fats on the back and skinnies on the front!! The right wheels will make the whole car!!

Just me......................
