Ok ,my 92 LX just doesnt seem up to have much get up and go, it is basically stock with 134k on clock.so far I have ran eec self test, system passed, ran cylinder balance, system passed, ran compression, got between 150 and 154 PSI in all, full tune up,plugs set @ 0054 plugs looked good, set timing @ 14*with spout out then reinstalled, cleaned mass air, adjusted TPS,swapped out timing chain, picked up a little more power.rear gears are 308s. checked fuel PSI,it was aroung 34 @ idle and like 42 with vac line off of regulator.the one thing that Im pretty sure is the bypass in the fuel pump is not working properly cause as soon as I shut the car off the fuel PSI dies immediatly and the car cranks like 5-7 revolutions before it starts. car will spin the tires pretty good if I dump clutch into ist but will not chirp 2nd most of the time, however that is not speed shifting .gas mileage is not very good, prolly around 14mpg.am still running CATS with stock H pipe.the only direction I can think to go is that the cats are partially plugged or something, but I would think that that would cause a code to be thrown.maybe a cyl leakdown test?Im not sure where to proceed.
