need axle help fast

I tried searching but never found the answer I was looking for. I put a sn95 rear axle in my 92, but come to find out it has a bent axle and lower gears than I really want. I still have my 92 rear, and a friend has some 95 axles no rear, will the 95 axles work in the 92 rear if I swap all the plates and brackets

86-98 8.8 axle housings are all the same.

94-98 axle shafts are the same.

So if you take your '92 rear, swap the pumpkin in it, then swap the Sn95 brakes onto the ends and use his '95 axles...you'll be good to go.
