Need Carfax report asap, buying the car now

Ah sorry man but i wouldn't put your kid in a kia. Not safe cars at all, and nothing but problems. They are cheap to buy but expensive to fix and they are just crap quality. If that car gets hit by a shopping cart it will explode. Thats just my $0.02. Not trying to put you down or anything.

I agree with 69Rcode. I saw one in a junk yard a few years bacck. It was demolished from an accident. I was concerned by this because my "cheap" dad bought one new around that time. Since then, he has had many problems that can't be diagnosed at home. $50 to plug it into a machine to let you know the spark plugs need changing, stuff like that.

Dayum!! Fifty bucks to scan the OBD-II port for error codes? I'm in the wrong business!

I wouldn't own a KIA either but there are two people where I work that just traded in their old ones for new ones because they said they never had any trouble at all out of them. In fact these are both women and said the hoods had never been opened other than the people that they paid to service them. One of the cars was one of those $8,000 jobbies that is a real bootom end vehicle.

I ran into the same lingo when I purchased an 84 P'up by Izusu. It was a no frills truck but I put 150,000 miles on it and it still didn't use oil with the 1.9L. Of course, I had to sell it because I could stick my finger completely through the frame behind the axle. With today's warranty, how could you loose?
