I have a 89 Mustang LX 5.0 that is supercharged with a Vortech S Trim making 12 lbs boost. I tuned the car on a chassis dyno and got 404rwhp at 8 lbs boost on a fairly conservative tune. The car is still running on the stock Ford computer. My question is I want to add nitrous to the car and I dont have much experience with nitrous, mostly superchargers.
My questions are wet or dry system I am thinking of a wet system just because of the additional fuel sprayed with the nitrous. But dry is not out of the question either. I am thinking of spraying just enough to cool off the intake air and would be looking at under 100hp shot. I dont really want to run an aftercooler at this time but could be something for the future.
If I add nitrous where would be the best place to inject??? I am running a Cobra intake. I would like to hear stories good and bad with running a system like this and what would be the best brand to use??? Thank you for your help.
