Did you reset the PCM after the install and give it time to re-learn fuel trim?

The idle is adjusted electronically not by a screw like it was on the 5.0s

What was your idle before you swapped throttle bodies? I disconnected the battery when I swapped mine and reconnected after the install was complete and it ran great. It sounds like you might have a leak somewhere.

Hmmm, usually when people put "need fast response" in the thread title, they stick around on the thread... Hellloooo, are you out there man...?

He's probably resetting his PCM...

the idle will come down after a few times driving the car. make sure you reset the computer, either by pulling the fuse or battery cable.

you may want to take a piece of sandpaper and clean out the inside of the throttle body around the butterfly. This will make sure no burrs are holding it open.
