Need Help 94 5.0

Think about that Allen. There are automotive machine shop positions where the guy bores blocks, or does heads, or turns cranks, or any of the dozen or so other jobs in an automotive machine shop that does stock stuff. I'll bet that if you asked any of them how much power could be made with a windsor and a blower and they'd be just as clueless.

I guess once again, it's a regional thing. Most of the guys in my area that run or work in automotive machine shops race, soo... Most of them know their way around a performance engine. Doesn't mean they're not tobacco dribbling sister lovers though.

Aftermarket block the stocker is good to about 500fwhp.
Large Cid with high flow heads and all the other necessary goodies large injectors single plane intake ect.ect.
Or boost lots of it.
Or both.
More air+more fuel=more hp.

Pretty simple no?
I mean as far as the internals, bore, stroke the length of the connecting rod the compression height of the pistons the combustion chamber size, cam shaft profile valve sizes,is the block a raised cam block? Things of that nature...

That would all vary from application to application. I am not a machinist I am an electrician. I do all my own assembly on my motors/cars, but my machine work is done by a reputable shop of my choice. I myself build mild street cars on a tight budget, my newest one has a blower on it from a thunderbird sc. I stick to backyard redneckitry custom junkyard less than a grand type stuff. :D

If you were half as slick as you pretended to be you would know there isn't a single right answer to that question. If that's too vague perhaps I'm over thinking and you just can't follow. Maybe you had just best stick to telling your friends why their cars are stuck in the driveway.

I thought we were talking about a specific car?

Looks like you guys had fun for awhile at least but beating the stupid is just a waste of time:dead:. Besides I have to put up with stupid every day. :shutup:I think I'll go do something funner like a dentist appointment. Rather than listen to the conductor of the:tard:

So I'm new to the group, and new to online discussion threads all together, with the exception of Facebook. I drive a 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 v8, I have dual Flowmaster straight pipes, shorty headers with no o2 sensors (not sure who they're made by they came with the car) , and k&n intake . I live on a tiny desert town where only one shop has the right diagnostics to hook up to it,last time I went there they cracked my windshield and denied it. I've been having a power surging issue, it idles fine, and sounds good when u rev it up , but when u start moving it sounds horrible and has power surges. I've replaced almost every sensor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, but still can't find why it's sputtering. Before it started getting bad I noticed when in pushed in the clutch while driving rpms would go up,everybody told me I was just being picky and bout my car and it was fine, but it drove me crazy. And then that problem grew into the sputtering, but no check engine light came

Did you check for vacuum leaks? Start it up and spray some starting fluid around vacuum hoses and any where vacuum can leak.
