NEED HELP ASAP!! In the middle of LCA innstall.

I am in the middle of installing my MM LCA's and I am on the last one I have the front bolt in, but I just can NOT gt the rear bolt hole to line up.


HELP!!

Is there some trick to getting the hole lined up? I tried jacking the rear end up a bit, it made it closer, but still too far off to get the bolt in.

I pushed against the shock and had a buddy also pry on it as well until the bolt went through.

do combinations of LCA up and down, axle up and down, and body. this is why pressure muct be on the axle close to the lca your working on when taking that bolt off. I learned the hard way also when doing springs that way.. never again tho.. keep at it and push pry whatever u gotta do, get it in and loctite it

Thanks for the help guys.

A buddy gave me a great tip that worked.

I took the factory jack and put it horizontaly between the caliper and the back box thing in the back of the wheelwell. It gave me the forward nudge I needed to line up the bolt hole.

Would that be the FDC (Ford Dirt Collector)?

you mean the wheel chok thats what i use them for since i took them off haha
