does anyone know if the stock valve covers will clear the twisted wedge aluminum heads with 1.7 roller rockers?
Does anyone know if the stock 93 cobra valve covers will clear the same combo?
Thanks..

i'm abouy 99.9% certain that the stockers need work to fit....

i'm a little less certain about the cobra's...but still think you need to grind out the baffle in them

i have 1.6 rockers and i set on the valve cover (engine not done) and it seems to clear, at least on the driver's side. Not too sure bout the 1.7s. You can try a tall valve cover to be certain, which may cause you to run an intake spacer, which may cause hood clearance issues. Like someone else said, its a vicious cycle.

You will most likely have to modify the baffle on the pass. side. I had to with 1.7 rr, stock cam and stock heads.

The guy I bought my car from put on the tall rocker covers, then a 1 inch intake spacer, then there were hood clearance issues. He could not get the stock covers to fit with the 1.7s. I also have trick flow heads don't know if that makes any diffrence. Good luck
