need help asap. regarding p/s and steering rack.

well i have posted on here saying is my ps messed up and got the reply yes. well i havent had the money to replace the ps pump and now when i turn left my car makes a noise. its not a squeek its more like contiunously screetching noise. my friend says its the rack and i should immediately buy a new ps pump and hoses and see if it stops and if not my friends junker stang and get the steering rack outta it.

all im asking guys is a 2nd or 3rd opinon if my friend is right. i just cant afford much this month due to some tickets.

might not have enough fluid? did u check that out first?

my ps sprung a leak and the ps pump started knocking so thats when i asked people on here if its a gonner and they said yes.

All I can tell you is if you can't afford much now, continuing to drive it with it messed up is probably gonna cost you more later. You may have rack and pump to replace.
