You can buy one of those long magnet sticks. I think they sell them at Lowe's or Home Depot...

Mike, Im going to have to disagree.. That looks like the oil passage.. the lash adjuster should be on the intake manifold side of the cam...

Im not sure if that would lead straight to the oil pan or not..

Well, look at it this way. You two entered into a contract, so you basically have a civil matter on your hands. Besides, you have his tools, and he has your $100.00. Which do you think is worth more?? I say the tools.

yeah, im sure he will be back- i deffinetely wouldnt pay the full price for the install though. Make sure you are nice to the guy untill he finishes the install, id hate for him to screw something up on purpose.

If I lived near you Id come over and finish her up for ya! if you want to take a stab at finishing it yourself there are plenty of people here that can talk you through it- including me.

Damn that sucks, but if you have any mechanical skills, between a HAYNES and all the help you can get from us, we can walk you through the install......as far as this guy goes, you are inconvenienced but not SOL. Sure you coughed up a hundy, but you got some tools out of it. No point in calling the police as there is nothing criminal, just stupid.
Let us know if you want to tackle the install, or pick up the yellow pages and look at mobile mechanics so you can get someone else out there. Sounds like your last guy is a tweaker.

Here is a idea if the guy don't come back you could tow your
car to a shop and have them finish it install.
It mite cost you but, the job will be done.

today that guys came and told me all the stories about what happen.
I bought a valve springs compressor from auto zone and it doesn't hold the springs in place right and slips all the time so we stoped. Where do I go to get good valve springs vompressor ?

The beehive valve springs from comp cams and stock valve springs looks the same. Are they really looks the same ? If so what is the differents?
