Last night out of nowhere my radio decided to die out on me,my windows, my wipers, my trunk release/ cruise. all the fuses are fine and when i put that little crap fuse tester that came with my pack of fuses it lights up so im getting juice to the fuses, i have no idea where to start looking..

Are you sure about whatever tester thing you're using? Does it check for 12 volts to the fuse, or just check continuity across the fuse terminals? If the latter:

You will likely find that you have an open in the blk/lt grn ignition switch wire or that the ignition switch itself failed and this wire is no longer powered. See the following diagram (courtesy of S&2B's [site host] and Tom Moss [diagram author]):

It looks to me like that one wire is involved in all the crap that is not working on your car.

I'd have a spare ignition switch on hand in case you find you need it (it's not a bad idea to replace the switch as a preventative maintenance type thing. 20 bucks at the dealership).

Good luck.

hissin 50 your a genius i love you, thats exxactly what it was, what happened with my ignition swittch was when i was doing my heat core i had to take it out obviously but not only did i take the electrical connector but the whole piece came out excluding the one with the odd torx screw, so in order me to get it back into that metal casing i shaved off some of the sides of the plastic piece (with the metal contacts), i have a zip tie holding it now. i guess im better off getting a new piece.

Sounds good, and I'm glad you knew exactly where to look. That's the nice thing about losing many circuits at once - it's not hard to find the common thread.

I recently changed out my switch due to a similar issue. The casing was 'leaning' to the left so I straightened it out. Well, this caused the switch to start acting a little bit funny. A new switch (and a spare for next time) came from the dealership and it was less than a 30 minute install, with me screwing around with some other stuff while under the dash.
FWIW, if your plug itself is cracked, you can get a new one those and a new pigtail as well. I have part numbers for several large parts stores saved somewhere if you need them.

Not that you need it, but here's a nice write-up for future searchers.

Good luck bud.
