I posted this in 'Talk', but I know some of you guys don't go there and was just looking for as much help as I can possibly get.

I went down to Island Dragway in NJ today and had a great time.. It was so much fun..Except I expected to atleast break the 15's... Is this normal for my car with the mods in my sig? my best run was:

R/T = .666
60' = 2.396
330 = 6.656
1/8 = 10.112
MPH = 71.31
1000 = 13.082
1/4 = 15.599
MPH = 88.76

The traction sucked, I set my tires at 20psi and did a burnout [without the waterbox] for this run.
Again, is this normal?

Also, my car is near 155K. I have not done anything to the engine and was wondering if it'd be safe to hook a DRY Zex kit up to it [under 100 shot]? This is my only car and I can't really afford to blow the engine.

Thanks guys, I need as much advice as possible and information/tips/tricks/what I should be running/What I did wrong.

Practice launching on the track.........go on test and tune and run the @#$% out of it.........there is no way I can floor mine without spinning over half way down the track......I tried it......you have to "feather" the throttle and once hooked up .....put it to the mat..............it is hard to be consistent this way......you get excited and push to hard... .....It would be nice to have slicks.......suspension....etc where you could just nail it and not worry about traction..........

i think that your problem is that your have like 180rwhp and your trying to push a 3800lb car. you are gonna need to add some more HP to get to your desired time goals. Like i told ya in other posts, time to start getting some small things like pullies, throttle body, etc etc
the zex kit will work fine, just keep it under a 100 shot. My guess is that you will drop 1.2 seconds with that 100 shot due to once you get that big thing rollin, its gonna get movin. you have the gears for it, just not the power at this point.
