Need help buying new Mustang!

Getting rid of my 2003 mustang GT to get a newer mustang GT. I’ve sat inside of an S550 and it was the most amazing car I’ve ever been behind the wheel of. I was wondering if a 2011-2014 s197 was just a good as far as comfort goes. Or at least if the s197 has more head room/ comfort than the new edge mustangs. An s197 would be way more affordable so I’m just wondering if anyone can help me out and let me know if a premium package is going to be a comfortable daily driver. Thanks.

I found the premium S197 quite comfy.

I do believe the S197 has more headroom. Not sure it is necessary though. I’m 6’ and have no issues in my S550.

But the cooled seats in the S550 is something I really enjoy and wouldn’t want to be without, so I couldn’t go back to S197.
Either way, both are great DD’s.

Awesome man that helps out. Yeah I got to sit in my coworkers ecoboost premium package with the nice seats and it was just amazing. Probably worth the extra money in the Long run.

Try and find a 17 still on the lot. Maybe you can get a sweet deal so the dealership can make more room for 2018s.

I'm 6'3" and I have plenty of headroom and legroom in my 17. So much legroom I have to move the seat forward to push the clutch all the way floor comfortably, otherwise I have to over extend my leg and ankle.

Depends on package, options, miles...

Check TrueCar data for an idea if it still has it.

I’d say no more than $34k for a fully loaded one. They should offer plenty of incentives this late in the game.

My wife's 2010 has more overall room and the seats are better than my 2000 Mustang GT. Def more head and legroom. I've borrowed it for long trips and it does very well. It got 26 mpg on the last trip I took with a little stop and go mixed in.
