Driving my car home today my clutch gave and I had to have my car towed to my mechanics shop so he can go to work on it in the morning. My question to you all is now that my clutch is done what kind of assembly should I throw in there next. I heard centerforce are not good clutches to go with but thats about all I know. Please give me advice on what to get verses what not to get, I really don't want to see this thread turn into an argument over 1 brand. Thanks in advance

You can run an Stage 2 spec clutch, or an King cobra clutch in your car with the mods that you have, or even an Ram Clutch. All of those clutchs I have had really good results with in customer car and also in mine. The King Cobra is priced good to no matter where you go to get it. Hope that helps.

another vote against spec.. 15K miles and it was toast!

I got a King Cobra now with no problems after 20K miles.

Centerforce Dual Friction is also what Im going to get when the King Cobra goes..

You can get a King Cobra shipped for 169 from several different places.

I HAD a king cobra clutch.... I hate spending the money to replace it with the same thing that is currently fragged. I bet I got only about 2 race seasons out of it, possibly 3 at most, my memory isn't so great.

Mcleod makes excellent parts, i would use this or a centerforce. They are both duel friction and top quality. Top $$$ too, but woorth it in the long run.

just get the centerforce. They are only like $300. The next step up is going to run you about double.
