I started my 06 GT and the door ajar lights were on and then proceeded to beep constantly. I checked and reshut both doors 3 times and tried turning the car off then back on again. No luck at all. The car is a 2006 GT Automatic the only modifications are a JLT CAI with 89 Octance Brenspeed tune via SCT2 tuner.

I tried searching but found nothing relevant. Has anyone else had this problem. I have had the tuner and cai on the car for almost 2 weeks with no problems whatsoever so Im not sure thats the cause.

The car is only 6months old so I find it hard to believe it could be a sensor.

Any help would be much appreciated as I may have to return it to stock and take to the dealer and it had better be covered under the warranty

I would not sweat it, it is under warranty. I know we all sweat trips to the dealer but something like this is not worth the headache.

My trunk lid wasn't shut all the way. Boy do I feel foolish lol. It never occured to me to check the trunk lid. I was so focused on the doors lol

Thanx for all the help

I just can't believe my car's computer is not smart enough to realize that my door is not a jar.

Would be kinda nice to store pickles in though. You'd never be hungry while driving.
