i just put in my lower intake that i ported. now the car is makeing a ticking sound and shakes, it wants to die after you rev it and then it will die everyonce few times after the rpm go back to idle. i despretly need some advice. i was about to leave to go to a dyno for 45bucks.

i just drove it around and it gets really loud at higher rpm and it stumbels along. i took out my distributer could it have somthing to do with that?

What kind of ticking? Rockers could need some adjustment.

Considering you just installed your intake, i'd also check for vacuum leaks..

would vacume leak cause the noice, i have a feeling well hope it is something as simple as a vacuum leak. it falls on its face at wot
