Hey I am trying to install these mac long tubes but even with the engine jack up I cant seem to have enough clearance to rout them through. and on the drivers side the steering shaft is in the way, I tried to remove it but dont know how. I only have today to get this done so Anything to make this install actually work and advice would be great, thanks

Remove the steering shaft by removing the one bolt at the rack, and I think there's another bolt under the dash.

Like he said about the knuckle removal for the steering

On the pass side loosen the motormount up then jack the motor up and remove the pass side valve cover they slipped right in from the top this way for me....thats what I did before the kmember swap, now I dont have to jack anything up or remove a VC...tons of room

Hope this helps
Chris

I finnaly got everything done but the o2 sensors, didnt line up so I brought it to Jerry's rod shop 3 blocks away and he had to heat up the h-pipe and headers and mold them to fit a little better. I am wondering why it seems I lost power, before it did feel like it had more balls and torque. Could it be the lost of back pressure?? or do you think it could be the o2 sensors not being hooked up? up it does sound loud!!
