need help fast

i just got my nitto nt555r drag radials and im going to the track in 2 hours and ive been told not to drive to the track on them by numeris people because of the soft tread what do you guys think

Nah! I put 12k miles on my last set of Nitto dr's! Nitto's have a pretty good tread life for a drag radial. If you had BFG or MT dr's then I would definately limit the number of street miles you put on them.

Good luck at the track!

I drive around with my 555R's all the time. No problems at all.

just curius what do you think me car will do in the quater mile if i hook up good

Depends on the driver. Should be good for good mid to low 13's.... about about 100-102 (d/a matters here).

I drove my bfgs on the street... in an auto car with a 3500 stall so they didn't spin a whole lot. but they faired really well.

The whole point of DR's is that you can drive them on the street. Maybe people thought you had slicks.

i did good i guess my best run was a 13.917 at 101mph i was hooking up great but getting bad reaction times and this was my third time to the track i would go alot more often if i had a track near me the closes one is 2 hours away i will post the videos sometime soon

yupp first time in 13's im going again saturday with the short throw shifter pulleys and 78 mm throtlebody and plenum should do a little better
