Hey all, so iv been battleing with my beast for a good few months on this issue. Its gets hot after driving for about an Hour. About 3 months ago i did head gaskets thinking that was the problem, and its been off and on with it getting hot. I drive nice and easy, minding my loud pedal and its fine for an hour. But if i get Highway speed then things get intresting, its goes up fast. Then i gotta pull off and let it cool, refill the overflow and limp it home to reburp the system and start all over the next time i drive far.And heres the thing, i changed the water pump, flushed the cooling system, burped the system ( or at least how im told to), and iv looped the heater core so no air gets locked in it. Also removed the thermostat to avoid that issue of air pockets. Im at a loss from this, i dont want to tear the motor down unless im %100 sure its something in the block, or replace the rad unless i know it will fix the issue. And yes i had it tested for exhuast gasses, was told all PSI was good and was holding pressure just fine at regular temp.

Sounds like a head gasket.
Stop by a parts store and get some [Coolant Test Strips]. Tell them that you want the ones that test for exhaust in the coolant.
