need help for emissions

i failed it due to hydrocarbon and need to find ideas on what it could be....im thinking the catalytic converter...any ideas?

O2, NOx, CO2, HC, CO without those we're guessing. but HC is unburned fuel which normally coinsides with a misfire.

shut i didnt even have a cat on my 86 SVO and it was clean .it has passed 2 time with no cat. check you fuel pressure .i had a after market fpr on it and it didnt pass .put the stock fpr back on and it was clean.

Yeah, but what are the limits in your state? Here in CA, you will not pass without one. It's hard enough to get through with a cat converter.

ive failed before, pulled the pip and went through again and passed so well that the person doing the testing said "i wish all cars were this clean"
