Hey guys, i'm trying to piece together the vaccum system (when I bought the engine it didn't come with the vaccum lines). I have a diagram and some of the pieces, (bought the ford kit which comes with new relays, egr, tad, and tab), but I need pictures of the Vaccum resservor, charcoal canister, canister purge valve, and the trees and the way they connect. For example, I have the vaccum check valve, but which of the 2 plugs on it get connected? Also, can I block off the lines to the HVAC controls and the Cruise Control? Thanks guys, I appreciate all the help.

it doesn't matter where you plug them into, just make sure that everything is plugged in using the right size line.
hook the charcoal canister to the lower intake and make sure you have the PCV valve go to the intake and a main line going from the intake to the vac. tree, outside of that you can run your lines how you want as long as they tap into the vac tree.

I'll see about getting some pictures of one of my cars tonight if you really want to try to hook it up the factory way.

Thanks guys, well I noticed some of the lines are different sizes and I figure they should be hooked up the same way because of that fact.

Ford Kit?

What is this Ford Kit? Is it Ford Racing or the dealership parts?

That is the same diagram is on the link to Tmoss & Stang&2birds website that I pointed to. Everyone should spend some time looking through the information on their site. It's a goldmine of diagrams and articles that should be in everyone's Internet Explorer Favorites.

I have a Typhoon, intake manifold and it has either 2 or 3 vacuum outputs on the side and one on the bottom (for the PCV valve I'm guessing), does it matter the way they are hooked up? Because the ones on the side are not in the same place as the stock intake.

If you guys want I can take a picture of the stock intake and the typhoon intake for suggestions on how to route the lines....if it even matters

Does anyone else have a typhoon intake with the vacuum lines hooked up?
