I am tired and for the life of me I can't remember what this black two post thingy is called?

It had a bunch of wires mounted to it, one of which is in the other 2 pictures. It was mounted on the left post. It looks rusty and should be replaced while everything else is out I would think. What is it called and what does it do?

Thanks,
Ben

1st pic is the starter solenoid. Ford uses it as a post to attatch everything to. Its really just a heavy duty relay

The other pic is a circuit breaker for the power seat circuit, it may run more things as well, cant remember for sure.

Thanks, did 88 foxes come with stock power seat? If so, mine are long gone. I will try and track this down somemore. If I don't need it, it goes.

There was around 3-4 things like this attached the the left post. Looked sloppy.

I wish I had my book in front of me, I could tell you for sure. I am pretty sure the power seat was on that breaker but there was probably more as well. I havent had any luck searching online, but I can tell you for sure tomorrow

Per the Ford book; Power Windows, Power Door Locks, and Lumbar Seats are all run off that circuit breaker.

I'm pretty sure I hid all of my wires by myself with no help and everything on my car still works. Oh and it is done the CORRECT way. So you must be talking about your other brother Darryl.

Thanks everyone. The pics help a lot. I have a chilton and it has helped some. I have removed all wiring, just need a little help with visuals to see how other people did it. Call me this weekend John, bring "frosty" over so I can picked it's brain. I'll tell you about the latest b.s. with my lift. Put it this way, my visa company is going after them for fraud. Details later.

I guess I don't need that circuit breaker then. cool.

LOL, well my buddy nick helped because he had nothing better to do and it is kinda hard to solder wires together by yourself. But I knew what I could take out and what had to stay.
