Hi!

I got a '62 Fairlane sport coupe with a small block. It looks narrow like a 302, but every book says that if it's a 302, it'll have "302" stamped in the lifter valley. This doesn't. It has the Ford symbol, and what looks like "29" stamped in, tand that's it. The number by the starter is C9OE-6015-C(?) (i think it's a C and the end). I've been told that this is a 351 Windsor block, but it looks so narrow. Anyone know for sure?. plus, on the blok between the distributor and the fuel pump it says "E11E". Any help would be GREAT!

thanks again!

The 351W has a taller deck height than the 302. (a 302 will have the intake almost flush with the base of the distributor... where it goes into the block..... a 351w will have about 1/2 inch lip there where the intake meets the block.)
