i have posted this before but didnt get too many answers, so i will try again.
The past few days here the temps have been above 75 degrees and all of a sudden since the temp increased my idle has shot way up to about 1800 rpms. additionally when i shift, the rpms jump to 3000 when my foot is on the clutch!!!! i am thinking it is the incoming (or idle) air temp. sensor, but i want some expert opinions before i spend the money on it. also i tried the mechanic about code checking, but he said his computer would not pick it up unless the check engine light was on, so no dice there. please help me
