Due to a recent move, I have lost my shop manual (ok, we all know nobody reads directions anyway). In any event, I have recently purchased clear corner lights for my 1998 vert and I am wondering if there is anywhere on the web I can find installation instructions. Or, does anyone have any advice on installing these? Is it pretty easy to do? Thanks!

I just installed these last Friday. It's dead simple. They're held on by a single nut. Just look in front of the radiator support and behind the headlight housing. You should be able to see the three headlight mounting bolts. To the side, where you'd expect to find it, is the single bolt/nut holding the corner markers on. Just undo that and pull the corners right off direct to the side. They're held in place with a couple of pins but only fastened by the one bolt.

Thanks for the reply. After I posted this, my computer (or this server) went wacky and I could not log on to check for replies. So, I did it the old fashioned way and realized all that you have said is true. I took my time with them and got them installed ok. By the way, did you buy your new ones from Ebay? I got mine there, and am reasonably happy with them. I think they were like $25.00 shipped. I have seen them for much more, but thought I would take a chance. So far, so good!

I did buy them off eBay, but they were part of a set that included the Cobra-style headlights, so I can't say anything about cheaper or not. I did notice that the weather-stripping on the corners isn't as good as the stock parts, but hey, you can't have everything, can you?
