My battery keeps going dead after it sits for a few hours, everything is off when I shut the car down, lights, doors, hatch, etc. The battery is about 6 months old, the battery terminals are new. I popped a bunch of fuses the other day trying to switch with my brothers battery. Please help, I'm at school now and need to leave after this period and must get my car started.
PLEASE HELP! Im stumped.
Later,
Jesse

I hate to give an obvious answer here because I know it doesn't help at all but something is definitely putting a draw on the battery if the battery is new and has been checked. You have to have power to something whether you know it or not. You may want to check the ignition switch since they had a recall on them. Maybe yours is stuck "on" and putting a drain on the battery. Without the car in front of us and some test equipment, we probably won't be able to help you. Electrical gremlins are always the hardest to fix without the car. Sorry and good luck.

I would have to agree with him on that. Electrical problems are the worst kinds of problems to have. I would really check to see if your ignition is stuck or if you have any possible "hot" wires touching something. Good Luck man.
