I’ve come across a white 2000 Roush Stage 2 convertible. 38k miles with it’s 2nd owner who bought it back in ‘01 with just 6k miles. No accidents or dents. It has a nitrous set up other than that the only modification have been styling such as headlights new wheels etc... He has the original wheels all 4 in great condition in boxes. Interior is in good shape except for drivers seat. Has a new convertible top as of 2015 & the only real exterior blemish is a few dust slots along the top of the windshield. Haven’t checked the body. Car had been kept indoors and out over the years. He’s asking $12,000 but his wife originally told me she’d think $10k would be a lucky ask. Will post pics! Thanks!

Guy who owns it was bigger and said he had the side cushion of the drivers seat redone as it got flattened over the years but didn’t redo the upholstery. Needs new tires and has those rust spots to take car of above the windshield was thinking to offer 8k and go from there.

Last thing that I feel keeps me from wanting to pay what he’s actually asking is the paint is 20 years old and has some mildew looking runs where water ran off prolly while under the cover and the clear coat isn’t the best looking anymore maybe i’m being picky and it just needs to be buffed out or something, but that’s why i’m here for opinions based on the pics

Needs new tires too badly... Ones that are currently on it are the originals off of a 2008 GT 500 he had and traded in about a year ago.

Update: I procured the car this past Friday. I offered $9k for it after all I could gather on what would seem fair. The man was happy with the offer and didn’t hesitate about it. I walked away with the car all the cosmetic pieces he’d bought for it over the years in the boxes. The original set of wheels. and the best part about the whole deal was he had just gotten a new battery and alternator installed from the dealership a week prior as well as 4 new Michelin Sport Cup tires idk why he felt the need to get them as he doesn’t drive the car since he’s been unable, but none the less I was very pleased with the deal far better than I was expecting.

@Kylor

Do me a favor and make a post ummmm.... here: https://www.stangnet.com/mustang-fo...clone-spoiler-the-jackstand-test-unit.871263/

It's just so that you have a post approved in a counted forum and I don't have to approve your posts anymore. LoL

Just go to that link and say, "Hi Mike!".

That's all. It will get you your 1 post and make the old man think he's crazy and should know you from somewhere. :jester:
Two things...

1. THAT'S where the random "Hi Mike!" Came from? :spit:

2. Mike deleting his thread pushed @Kylor 's post count back to zero and I'm having to approve posts for him again.
