is there anyway to plug the hole for the speedo, i need to get a new gear, i droped it from about 2 feetand the tip of the gear broke off, and the stang is the only vehical i have right now, i also need a new cable....by tonight....all within 1 hour....

I pulled the gear off of the end of my cable and stuck it back in the tranny to keep it from leaking.
I noticed you're from arizona. Not sure exactly where, but there is a place in Chandler that has a bunch of old mustangs and lots of new parts. Last time i checked they were giving away a junk '71 mach 1. You might be able to get some parts from them for the speedometer. I think its on elliot road near arizona or something. Its in a strip mall on the north side of the road.
