My dad and I took apart part of the steering column the other day because the ignition actuator rod snapped (the rod that goes from the key lock to the ignition switch under the dash in the steering column). Does anyone have information on how to fix it because i really dont like parking my car with no alarm system, and the ignition switch out in the open because thats how im starting the car now. Please help!

Was Urban's info not helpful? He's got about the best write-up that I've seen.

Good luck.
