Join the club. I take it you have an aluminum shaft? You could grind the bolt a little... you'll have to decide how much/if its smart... it depends on where the bolt is and how important its integrity is.

If I have passengers in my vert, it'll rub the shaft on the loop when floored.

You now, that's actually not a bad idea if you're positive it'll clear than. Even with no bolts it still may reach the loop, suspension is a bitchy and flexible girl.

Sounds like you have an auto driveshaft in there. The 5-speed models do not have thatbig extra weight, but are identical otherwise. The FMS Aluminum ones are bigger around, but have other positive effects if you go that wya in the future.

Personally, I went with the trapezoid style FMS/HPM/UPR/etc. style loop and have plenty of extra room even with my FMS shaft -- and it fits very nicely too. No bolts inside the loop makes installation easy even with the DS in the car.
