Maybe someone has had this problem. I took it to Ford and after two days, they said "oh yea, our tech. couldn't duplicate the problem so we haven't done anything". What idiots.

Here's the trouble: about every 25 or so times starting the car, it simply won't turn over. NOTHING! It makes no noise whatsovever. After about 45 minutes of waiting, it will start. Now, I immediately figure it a hot starter, but sometimes it happens when the car is cold.

When I took it to Ford and they were just going to give it back to me, i told them at least to do something that is most obvious. I had them replace the ignition switch, neutral switch and a couple relays. That was two days and $500.00 ago!! I figured I had a 75% chance of success. Well, I got stranded today for over an hour! :bang:

Anyone have this problem? Any ideas? I guess it could simply be a bad starter after all....?? :bang:

Clean the connections on the starter, battery terminal and the fuse block under the hood. A marginal connection at any of those points can give you that problem. Also, check the bolts in the starter; if it isn't grounded well, you could have the same symptom. Good luck. :nice:
