im looking at getting a trickflow stage 2 cam soon. it will be going in with stock pistons and a new 306 shortblock most likely.

my springs are good to .600 lift, using standard head gaskets, ect. 1.7 roller rockers. the cam specs are: SBF hydraulic roller camshaft. 224/232 degrees duration @ .050, .542/.563 lift.

i was "told" it will clear. before i purchase it and run into problems later down the road i'd like to figure it out first. if it requires more information and its not a definate no, is there some calculations i can do?

thanks

Sorry... can't tell ya for sure, however I "think" it'll be pretty damn close if it does clear. Another option... and this is just to get yer ball rolling, is that if you find that it doesn't fit... possibly downgrade to 1.6 rockers and go back up to 1.7s later on if you plan on building up your short block. This is just a personal thought IF it doesn't clear AND you're determined to use that cam...
Good luck either way, (and you can always consider a custom grind)
