I bought a scosche adapter to put my new stereo in with but im having an issue 1 the speaker connecter doesnt match up. 2 on the main connecter ther is 6 wires but the stangs connecter has 7 the extra is a black possibly an extra ground. I would just splice the stereo wires into the harness but fords wire colors dont match up. So any hints on how to get the speaker side to match up (maybe if i pull it appart) or someone with a wire diagram/color diagram would help me out alot. And whats that extra black wire for?

seems like im the only one answering my thread so for those who view this i got it all together (just forgot to hook up the antenna) and i have to say this sony 2006 cdx-ra700 is very nice looks great in the stang, nice display/motorized face. sounds good to went in extremely easy and has a ****load of options and ways to hook up anything you want lots of aux possiblities satilite ready etc. l
