I just don't understand the wires that I use out of my dirt spark ignition module I hook the four wires that go to my distributor to the module and where does the red and white wire go on the module

What control module are you talking about? Did the V6 cars have some computer engine moniters? My 83 V8 had none.. Only smog devices run by vacuum and electric solenoids...

I think he's referring to the Duraspark.

A Rotunda Breakerless ignition tester has the schematic
They sell these cheap on Ebay at times
They have a diagram too, no actual schematic like an EVTM but here you go
Might be hard to read as this is a photo of a photo on Ebay
I have one of these testers and a bunch of EVTM's but finding this on Ebay was the easiest way to post a diagram

Like a HEI
It only takes one wire to run a Duraspark
I use a Duraspark on my 69 Boss 302
One red wire to power up and away you go
Not sure what I did with the white wire
I may have that one hooked up too
I was NOT looking at this diagram when I hooked mine up 40 years ago
Good luck, have fun
