I am not sure if I am in the right section or not. If I am in the wrong section can someone please tell me the right place to post this thread. I have a 1993 mustand hatchback. My seats were in pretty bad shape. So I decided to replace them. I went to replace all the seats, both front and back. I went to a local junkyard and was given seat from a 1987 mustang. The front two bucket seats went in no problem. The back seat was a different story. My son-in-law went to put it in for me. As he was putting it in he said the it did not fit. When asked why it wouldn't fit he said that the bolt holes would not line up. I am not sure if the seats that I got from the junkyard came out of a hatchback or not. From the research that I have done and from what I have been told, the seats from the 1987 are compatiable with my 1993. Is this true? What are the differences in the hatchback's rear seats versus the coupes? Are they interchangeable? I am not to concered if they fold down or not. If they are not interchangeable is the a way to modify the coupe seats to fit into a hatchback. Just looking for some help with this as quickly as possible. Any other information need just ask. Thanks for the help in advance.
